Welcome to Essence of Memories. By booking my services or using this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Services
Essence of Memories provides professional photography services for weddings, baptisms, maternity, family sessions, and other events in Brussels and across Belgium.
2. Booking & Payment
- To secure a booking, a non-refundable deposit is required (amount communicated at the time of booking).
- The remaining balance must be paid on the day of the event, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- All payments are made in EUR and include VAT if applicable.
3. Delivery of Photos
- Edited photos are delivered digitally via a secure online gallery within the agreed timeframe (usually within 2-12 weeks).
- Physical products such as albums or USB sticks are optional and subject to additional fees.
- Delivery times may vary in case of high workload or unforeseen circumstances, but clients will always be informed.
4. Copyright & Usage Rights
- All photos remain the copyright of Essence of Memories.
- Clients are granted a non-exclusive, personal license to use the photos for private purposes (printing, sharing with family & friends).
- Commercial or promotional use of photos requires prior written consent.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- In case of cancellation by the client, any additional payments may be partially refunded, depending on the stage of preparation.
- Date changes are possible, subject to availability.
- In case of cancellation by Essence of Memories, all payments including deposit will be fully refunded.
6. Liability
- Essence of Memories is not liable for force majeure events (accidents, illness, strikes, technical failures, extreme weather).
- In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to provide a replacement photographer or reschedule.
- Liability for any claim is limited to the total amount paid by the client.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by Belgian law.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels.
